FURCULA, Lattice Study is the drawing behind adelavega's FURCULA sandstone sculpture. Over a red construction grid, curved members cross, bow, and meet at their nodes, testing how the wishbone's anatomical form could repeat into a continuous lattice. Repeated strokes, adjustments, and overlapping lines record the search for the form before it was carved in stone.
Printed on 315 gsm Cold Press Watercolour Paper, the textured matte surface gives the image a tactile, fine-art character while preserving subtle tonal transitions and intricate detail.
