The flower of Cempasúchil parametric sculpture symbolizes the Day of the Dead in Mexico, thanks to its color and aroma is one of the most representative elements of offerings for the dead.

The flower of Cempasúchil is native to Mexico, its name comes from the Nahuatl "Cempohualxochitl" which means "twenty flowers" or "twenty petals".

Our ancestors assimilated the yellow color of the cempasúchil flower with the sun, which is why they used it in the offerings dedicated in honor of their dead. Tradition marks making paths with the flowers of cempasúchil, from the main road to the altar of the house in to order to guide souls towards the altars.
