Memory of the Rising Sun

Memory of the Rising Sun explores memory, place, and cultural imagery through a layered composition of red circles, linear grids, photographic fragments, and textured graphic fields.

References to Japanese architecture emerge within a rhythmic structure of dots, patterns, and overlapping geometries, creating an image that moves between recollection and abstraction. The repeated red forms act as visual anchors, suggesting cycles, signals, and traces of place.

Printed on 315 gsm Cold Press Watercolour Paper, the textured matte surface enhances the grain, tonal variation, and tactile quality of the composition while preserving the precision of its graphic elements.

Available in four proportional sizes: 9×12, 18×24, 24×32, and 36×48 inches.

Unframed. Limited edition.
